Julia Brain UnpackeD
I am Julia DeSantis, a creative yet technical, heart-driven extrovert, born in Tokyo, Japan and currently living in Los Angeles. I am senior at the University of Southern California majoring in Communications and minoring in Social Entrepreneurship and User Experience.

I am an engaged climate change activist, and passionate about companies and projects that champion social impact and sustainability to better connect what makes us human through storytelling, human-centric design and conscious business practices.
I am specifically interested in the intersection between climate, food and culture, and how food acts as a facilitator and mediator of human interaction and progress. I actively engage in this intersection in recent work leading a food pantry distribution program and supporting green space and urban farming initiatives in Los Angeles.

I have experience in brand and creative strategy, product marketing, client relations, organizational consulting and operations, as well as a foundation in communication and pitching. I am a super collaborator, and intersectional thinker that can draw from multiple contexts and perspectives to catalyze group strategy and creative problem-solving.

I am a serial optimist and an openminded realist ready to get to work. I hope to find opportunities to apply my boundless creative thinking to empower the planet, its natural systems, and the people around me.
